MAC Warm Neutral Shadow Palette

The Perfect Palette

An Eye Shadow Palette in fifteen warm shades: Hey, Warm Breeze, Gingersnap, Dark Brew, Dance in the Dark, Brule, Vanilla Extract, Honey Lust, Amber Lights, Saddle, Lemon Tart, Butterfudge, Creative Copper, Unwind, and Divine Decadence. The highly pigmented powder formula applies evenly, and blends beautifully.

This is a great palette for every eye color! Especially those blue/green eye'd gals. I prefer a warm neutral palette to cool colors. I think it's just soft and feminine. I'm never a big fan of harsh black/silver colors on anyone. It's the perfect combo. Some of my favorites in this palette are Brule, Honey Lust, Amber Lights, and Saddle.

If you're wanting to start a MAC palette collection but don't even know where to start - this comes with all the shadows inserted in the palette and ready to go. The cost is $100 which sounds like a lot - but - if you tried to make this on your own it would cost $150 for the shadows alone.

Below are 2 pics in different lighting. As usual - it's better in real life!

Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream

5 Beautifying Benefits in 1

What it claims to do: Instantly visibly improves skin and gradually perfects skin over 5 days. Used daily, its self adjusting tone technology delivers a customized solution for your skin tone.

5 benefits:

1. hydrates & smoothes
2. brightens & illuminates
3. evens skin tone
4. visibly firms skin
5. minimizes the appearance of imperfections

What I think: I have no clue what tone technology is but I like it! My husband says I'm a marketer's dream. Yep. I'm a sucker.

I got a sample of this in my New Beauty Test Tube (amazing by the way). I was skeptical because when I read "BB Body Cream" - I definitely didn't like the idea of rubbing foundation-like makeup all over my body. It was not like that at all! It does have a nude tint to it - but it goes on just like a body lotion and all perfectly blends. The sample I got was for light skin tones. I bought the large bottle in Medium-Deep tones at target. The colors seemed pretty similar though. My only problem - price tag for a bottle of Jergens lotion - $11.99?! Ouch. Still bought it...of course...like I said...marketer's dream.

Bottom line- it really does what it claims (still not sure about firming my skin but I'm holding out). My skin looks luminous and even toned. It gives you a nice glowing look. It hydrates really well and lasts all day. That's that!

Thanks for reading!

Summer Loves

Essie Polish + Supergoop Suncreen

Just a quick post on a couple things I love right now!

Essie polish in Romper Room. If you're an Essie fan like me you probably know Fiji and Marshmallow are the Essie staples. Romper Room is the perfect combo of the two!! Fiji can get a bit chalky and hard to apply - Marshmallow sometimes needs a few coats to show up. This is the PERFECT MIX! Amazing. New favorite. Get it here

I've been using Supergoop Suncreen for a couple of years now and have really loved it! It's great for my sensitive skin and doesn't cause breakouts. It's also safe to use on my baby's skin! Made without Parabens, Sulftates, Phthalates. I really like the wipes they make too. Super easy to wipe on your face and chest after you get wet or sweaty. Get it here

That's all folks! Hope y'all are having a lovely summer. Xoxo

All In Ones

Because Ain't Nobody Got Time For That....

Clearly I haven't been posting as much lately (even though I really thought I would get better- ha!). That's why this post fits my life so perfectly right now! Because "ain't nobody got time for that!!" I don't have all the spare time I use to - so the quicker & easier the better! If you are super busy like me with whatever it may be- career, kids, life, etc. - maybe this will help you out! Which is also why I won't ramble - let's get to the point!

My favorite All- in- One Products:

1. Macadamia Natural Oil Flawless 6 in 1 Cleansing Conditioner - Why I love it:
Like it says - 6 in 1! This product cleanses, conditions, reduces blow dry time in half, detangles, enhances volume and eliminates frizz in ONE product. Use on wet hair just like you would a normal shampoo - this replaces your shampoo and conditioner and has no suds. I use this throughout the weekday (not for going out, events, etc). I feel like it really gives my hair a break from styling gunk throughout the week. The beauty of this is that you don't have to use ANY products on your hair at all - you wash and go straight to blow drying. For me this cuts my getting ready time in half! Not to mention your hair dries soooo fast with this. Amazing!! (I have super oily skin/hair and this does not make my hair greasy even though it says oil)

2. Lumene Time Freeze CC Anti-Age Color Correcting Cream - Why I love this:
I have tried 375,984,236 different BB and CC and whatever the heck else creams there are in this world!! This is quite possibly the best stuff out there! I want to go buy 5 more!! I'm serious! I almost like this better than my beloved Giorgio Armani foundation - OMG! It makes my skin flawless and literally lasts ALLLLL day. You don't even have to apply any powder over it and you never look oily. It's amazing. I apply with a slightly damp BeautyBlender sponge. The best part  is - this is from the drugstore! I've seen it at CVS, Walgreens, and Ulta. I have the medium color right now but am in search for a darker color for summer. (SPF 20 Broad Spectrum too!)

3. Philosophy Amazing Grace Satin Finish Body Oil Mist - Why I love this:
Since having a baby I have about 5 minutes to take a shower sometimes. This means slathering my body in moisturizer after the shower is a thing of the past. With this I can spray my body super quickly - rub it in a teeny bit - AND smell fabulous. Enough said! Carried at Sephora, Ulta, Cosmetic Market, etc.
